Yakuzen is the food therapy based on TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) theory, selecting various foods and medicinal herbs, according to the Season, Living Environment and Psychical Condition.

Based on the cycles of YING and YANG and Five Elements Theory, it has the advantage of having updated the ingredients necessary for its practice so that everyone can draw inspiration from it.

Human body may be influenced by season’s transition or by stressful daily life, and loose a good balance of Ying and Yang or Five Elements (fire, water, wood, earth and metal).

Herbal medicine dishes based on Chinese traditional medicine, kanpō, 漢方 is called "yakuzen 薬膳" in Japan.

Yakuzen it is based on the Asian philosophy of “Ying Yang (陰陽 cool or warm)” theory, and "Five elements”; fire, water, wood, earth and metal. Our body condition is influenced by the changing environment. In Japan, there are five seasons; spring, summer, autumn, winter, and rainy season. Food is to adjust your "qi" 氣, blood 血, and water 水 in your body. Yakuzen is about knowing yourself, and your living environment.

By understanding the wisdom of Yakuzen, you will know the healing effects of food. Good food selection will support balancing your physical and mind condition. Yakuzen is about knowing yourself and nature surrounded by you, and making the right selection on food.

What is Japanese Medicinal Food?

Japanese Medicinal Food (Yakuzen) refers to dishes made using ingredients and cooking methods that suit each person’s physical conditions based on ideas from ​​oriental medicine. Japanese medicinal food helps to relieve illnesses and adjust imbalances in your body, and it is also useful for symptoms such as cold sensitivity and physical fatigue.

YAKUZEN provides dishes that suit 8 types of body conditions. You can find out your current health condition by answering the questionnaire in our app. The menu has also been designed so you can easily choose the dishes that are suitable for your type. There are many yoga teachers around and many places you can start to practice. The point is not to jump in the big water without an introduction, without understanding how and what way yoga will change your body and mind. My Yoga

My yoga background is Sivananda Yoga – a holistic combination of five essential elements – proper exercises (Asans), proper breathing (Pranayama), proper relaxation (Savasana), proper diet (Vegetarian) and Positive Thinking combined with Meditation.
